Kristine shared a bit of her story to help others learn from her experience.
She got married when she was 20 and was pregnant at that time to a 23-year-old ex-husband. The marriage didn’t work because he was involved with drugs and cheated on his wife. After the separation, Kristine got involved with another man and got pregnant. The guy left him. After 2 years, Kristine fell in love again with another man, got her pregnant, and left her again.
Because of the struggles, she gave up her last child for adoption to her aunt who got married to a Canadian citizen. Now, she’s working as a contractual government worker to help her kids. If there’s no project, she got no income and she would have to depend on her biological mom. From her story, she shared that her ex-husband is sharing a bit of support, but it was not enough to help them.
I hope that Kristine learned from this experience and to do something about it.
